Thanksgiving is behind us and I’ve already pulled out boxes from storage filled with Christmas and Hannukkah decorations. I’m very excited for Wesleigh to participate in decorating in a meaningful way this holiday season.

Earlier this month I had taken Wesleigh to Eden Farms in Stamford to pick out the perfect Christmas tree. It’s proudly lit in our living room trimmed with ornaments and decorations for the holiday.

Our fireplace mantel on the other hand was begging to be decorated. The fireplace is in our family room, just off the kitchen and is a main focal point. We spend so much quality time as a family in this room and since Santa makes his entrance through the fireplace, the mantle should really be highlighted appropriately.
